National Careers Service

Nation Career Services also known as NCS provide careers information, advice and guidance. They provide high quality, free and impartial careers advice, information and guidance, such as helping an induvial to make the right decisions on learning, training and work at all stages in their career. This service is available to those that live in England, aged 13+ no matter what stage of the careers journey you’re at.

NCS provide relevant career advice such as:

  • Making Career choices : whether starting your career, changing your Job or if you have been effected by Covid-19. NCS will help you to understand and make the right choice specifically for you.

  • Getting a job : Get the opportunity to be successful in the recruitment process with tips on great CV’s, Interviews and graduate scheme applications.

  • Progressing your career : Move up in your career by developing new skills. Find opportunities like volunteering and online learning.

Who is National Careers Service for?

Citizens

NCS provide to anyone aged 13+ with life long careers information, advice and guidance to help you make good career choices, no matter what point of your career journey you’re at.

Intermediaries

They also provide information for parents, teachers, employers, coaches and advisers to support others in their career journey.

Stakeholders
