Jobs 22 accredited to the matrix Standard

Employability experts awarded international quality standard for provision of information, advice and guidance.

Jobs 22 has been accredited to the matrix Standard, demonstrating the high-quality employability services it provides to those looking to move forward in their lives, with a particular focus on progressing to sustainable employment by focusing on the skills, health or life challenges that may be holding them back.

Jobs 22 is an employability business founded by the charity Catch22, and AKG UK. It creates employment opportunities by addressing the social, economic and wellness challenges faced by people in the UK. Jobs 22 partners with local organisations and charities to create bespoke support systems that empower people with the skills they need to succeed at work, which has a huge positive impact on local employers, partners and the community beyond.

The matrix Standard is the international quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice and/or guidance (IAG), either as their sole purpose or as part of their service offering. Roger Chapman, Head of the matrix Service for The Growth Company said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Jobs 22 and I would like to congratulate the team on their success. We believe that at the heart of high-quality advice and support services are strong leadership, excellent service and a focus on continuous improvement, all underpinned by effective use of the resources available. The matrix Standard is designed to benchmark organisations against best practice in these areas. With their accreditation success, Jobs 22 is working to provide the best possible support to their clients.”

Commenting on the award, Ayden Sims, CEO of AKG UK, Jobs 22’s co-founding organisation said:
